From Molina di Ledro you pedal up to the Nota Pass, a very challenging road that will make you realize from the start if the conditions are good.
From Passo Nota begins the most beautiful but also most challenging section of the Tremalzo Tour, which follows the pass road of the same name built by Italian troops during the Great War.
The tour takes us uphill through a few hairpin bends and then downhill through tunnels under the southern slopes of the Tremalzo Group.
Starting at an elevation of 1,200 m at Passo Nota, we reach the highest point at 1,855 m above sea level, the tunnel under the Corno della Marogna.
After crossing it, the beautiful descent begins – first to the Garda Tremalzo Refuge and then on the paved road to the Ledro Valley floor, where we proceed on the bike path to our starting point, Molina di Ledro.
Especially in autumn, the landscape is mystical, the valleys remote, riding on the old military road you feel immersed in adventure.
