    For premium protection in deep winter riding, the Q36.5 Base Layer 4 offers the supreme combination of essential moisture management and body heat retention. Our warp knitting seamless technology enhances comfort levels while the inclusion of intelligent materials ensure that this Base Layer promotes proper thermoregulation in the most difficult climatic environments even on intense rides.

    The Emana® yarn is an organic ceramic polyamide yarn, which enhances micro circulation and oxygenation during physical activity allowing for a better thermoregulation and moisture exchange rate. To increase thermal capabilities while maintaining a low volume we have introduced the Hollow Fiber which allows functional insulation and reduced water load thanks to the hollow core structure that traps warm air.

    The Q36.5 Base Layer 4 has greater elasticity and lower resistance to movement in all directions due to the Karl Mayer Seamless knitting machine’s ability to eliminate seams from all parts of multiple tubes. The proprietary honeycomb pattern of the knit is used in various densities and is coupled with open-mesh sections mapping the thermal requirements and regional sweat rates of the body.

    Had an excellent ride in 4° C with a 28k wind! Layered under the Hybrid Que, #4 is great for taking the chill out of the equation. Riding hard with perspiration in winter, no problem. Superb gear, it just works.

    adding some winter gear and started with the base layer. q never lets me down; collar sits up higher than most, love it. seamlessness makes it that much more comfortable. looking forward to the colder days to put it to the test but i have no doubt it will perform at the highest level as all t q products do.
