SRM X-Power Direct Road Pedals Grey
The pedal comes with included cleats 1.2° angular float.
The greatest innovation in SRM’s new pedal lies in its engthening of the pedal body to reposition the positive element of the cleat and its attending mechanical components behind the direct point of contact between shoe and pedal, allowing for a 6 mm reduction of space between shoe and pedal axle relative to existing marketing leading systems (Shimano) and an increase in contact surface (1.653 mm.) area between shoe and pedal offering the ride both more direct and efficient transfer of power.
The body of the pedal is made from forged 7057 aluminium and 54mm Q-factor with a total weight of 254 g (Shimano Dura Ace 252 g).
The Unique Pro 4.0 shoe is the first and only shoe in the world to offer compatibility with SRM’s revolutionary new X-Power Direct road pedal system.
SETUP GUIDE: When installing this pedal on your bike, please adjust the saddle height by lowering it 6mm compared to the height used with Shimano or Look pedals.

A revolutionary new system
The new SRM X-Power Direct Road Pedal along with the Q36.5 Unique Pro Road Shoes is part of a gamechanging shoe and pedal system that increases the contact surface area between shoe and pedal while further reducing the total pedaling stack height by 6 mm relative to the current marketing leading figures, offering the most direct and efficient pedaling system on the market.

Increased contact surface
Lengthening of the pedal body to reposition the positive element of the cleat – as well as its attending mechanical components – behind the direct point of contact between shoe and pedal, allows for a 6 mm reduction of space between shoe and pedal axe and an increase in contact surface (1.653 mm.) area between shoe and pedal.
Low stack height
Using a pedal and shoe with a lower stack height allows to compensate the disadvantage of a shorter crank. The downside of using a shorter crank is that you have to rise the saddle not to overextend the foot at the 6 o’clock position.
Stack height:
- 8.7 mm – Pedal Only
- 9.7 mm – Pedal & Cleat
Greater pedaling efficiency
The use of the Q36.5 shoe-pedal system offers riders not just greater pedaling efficiency in the form of increased watts but also a more aerodynamic body position and, for riders using shorter crank lengths, a positive compensation of baricenter allowing for better control of the bike and confidence in descent.
