Technical Features
The Q36.5 Bat Shell Jersey uses advanced materials and an ergogenic cut to protect your upper body from rain, wind and cold during the hardest rides of the year. Unlike most rain shells, the Bat Shell Jersey fits close to the torso thanks to our body mapping technique to avoid having material flapping in the wind.
Using a three-layer wind and waterproof exterior combined with the Graphene Yarn Technology woven into the interior, the Bat Shell Jersey blends weather protection with advanced temperature management to disperse excess heat from the body’s warmer areas quickly to avoid moisture build-up. Since it is equipped with front and rear ventilation pockets for micro-climate control, the Bat Shell Jersey provides the perfect balance of weather protection and breathability. Weighing only 210g, it effortlessly provides the same level of insulation and weather protection as jackets much heavier and bulkier.
The three rear pockets can be used to carry even another protective layer for those seriously cold days. The weatherproof cam-lock zipper zips right up to the airtight hermetic collar, ensuring no cold or rain will trickle down the back of the neck. Raw cut laser hems keep the jersey in place with a minimum of material.
The Q36.5 Bat Shell Jersey is a 4-season top that can be worn alone with a Short Sleeve Base Layer during drizzly summer rides and can be layered over an insulated Long Sleeve Jersey once the weather begins to drop near the freezing point.

Bought it a while ago and the first impression was positive. Tried it out only today, because it was the first day this spring that allowed riding in short clothes. Must say: it's fantastic. Suits like a glove, lets you ride and move freely, one does almost have the feeling of not wearing it.. super leggera!

A waterproof vest? What an odd idea I thought. But experience told me, that the good folks at q36.5 usually think further ahead. This garment is proof for that. Especially in the transition seasons a top that stores body heat ob descents and protects from the occasional drizzle and showers is actually a great idea. I wear it with an L1 LS and it works well from near freezing to 15C. It fits into the jersey pocket with a bit of pushing and prodding. A very versatile yet compact piece.

Have used this a couple of times with just a base layer beneath it in heavy showers and it has performed really well.
