Technical Features
For premium protection in deep winter riding, the Q36.5 Base Layer 4 offers the supreme combination of essential moisture management and body heat retention. Our warp knitting seamless technology enhances comfort levels while the inclusion of intelligent materials ensure that this Base Layer promotes proper thermoregulation in the most difficult climatic environments even on intense rides.
The Emana® yarn is an organic ceramic polyamide yarn, which enhances micro circulation and oxygenation during physical activity allowing for a better thermoregulation and moisture exchange rate. To increase thermal capabilities while maintaining a low volume we have introduced the Hollow Fiber which allows functional insulation and reduced water load thanks to the hollow core structure that traps warm air.
The Q36.5 Base Layer 4 has greater elasticity and lower resistance to movement in all directions due to the Karl Mayer Seamless knitting machine’s ability to eliminate seams from all parts of multiple tubes. The proprietary honeycomb pattern of the knit is used in various densities and is coupled with open-mesh sections mapping the thermal requirements and regional sweat rates of the body.

Q36.5 is for me synonym for quality! The Base Layer 4 Long Sleeve is a must to have in cold winterday ridings. The Base adapt immediately on the shape of your body. Its warm and smooth. Give it a try!

Love it. Nice and snug for cold weather riding. I tend to wear it at 5°c and lower. With the BL3 from 5-10°C in winter conditions.

This base layer does exactly what it says in the description. Combined with the winter adventure jacket you get a temperature management system that really works. I rode in 35 degree weather the other day and was warm with no heat build up. Rode with the same set up in 45 degree rain with the same results. Excellent product. I have written maybe one or two reviews in my life, which should tell you something.

Great product - comfortable - not used in very cold conditions yet, but will order base level 3 for slightly warmer autumn rides.
Advanced Body Mapping
The Base Layer features different levels of breathability and varying densities resulting in an ultra-low volume garment for maximum performance and comfort. The back is thinner than front resulting in advanced moisture wicking according to sweat zones.
Seamless Construction
Significantly greater elasticity and lower resistance to movement in all directions makes this base layer feel like an intelligent second skin. It results in total frictionless comfort thanks to the seamless, tubular construction.
Temperature Management
The intelligent multi structure of the material actively keeps you warm by stimulating blood circulation of the upper skin layer while the hollow yarn retains generated body heat to keep you warm. Push-pull moisture management eliminates sweat build-up.
