Technical Features
The long sleeve and hooded Q36.5 Base Layer 5 uses a unique seamless construction and intelligent materials to ensure you stay warm and dry while training in extra cold conditions. By introducing Emana® yarn and Hollow Fiber to the weave of the base layer, it is possible not only to keep your torso dry, but to help you generate body heat to keep you warm. When the temperature dips below freezing, the Q36.5 Base Layer 5 offers all essential levels of insulation and moisture management your core requires, with the added benefit of an integrated hood to keep your head and neck protected as well. With our seamless knitted technology and intelligent materials, sub-zero rides can still be efficient training opportunities.
The Emana® yarn is an organic ceramic polyamide yarn, which enhances micro circulation and oxygenation during physical activity allowing for a better thermoregulation and moisture exchange rate. To increase thermal capabilities while maintaining a low volume we have introduced the Hollow Fiber which allows functional insulation and reduced water load thanks to the hollow core structure that traps warm air.
The Q36.5 Base Layer 5 offers exceptional elasticity and lower resistance to movement in all directions due to the Karl Mayer Seamless knitting machine’s ability to eliminate seams from all parts of multiple tubes. The proprietary honeycomb pattern of the knit is used in various densities and is coupled with open-mesh sections mapping the thermal requirements and regional sweat rates of the body.
For bitterly cold days, the Q36.5 Base Layer 5 provides a new level of protection for your core, neck, and head to help you get the most out of your winter training rides.

Ottimo prodotto, traspirante nonostante la prima sensazione, asciuga velocemente, caldo e il fatto di avere il cappuccio elimina il portarsi dietro scaldacollo e varie per ripararsi. Fare attenzione alla taglia perché ho sempre acquistato intimi Q36.5 S/M in questo caso ho dovuto farmi arrivare una XS/S. Per il resto prodotto top.

Advanced Body Mapping
The Base Layer features different levels of breathability and varying densities resulting in an ultra-low volume garment for maximum performance and comfort. The back is thinner than front resulting in advanced moisture wicking according to sweat zones.
Creaseless Fit
Thanks to a true seamless tubular construction the Q36.5 base layer has an extraordinary elasticity and low resistance to movement, becoming an intelligent second skin, covering the full surface area of your body, greatly increasing its functionality in regulating your core body temperature. Seamless, unhemmed, construction also makes this base layer pratically indestructible even after years of use.
Temperature Management
The intelligent multi structure of the material actively keeps you warm by stimulating blood circulation of the upper skin layer while the hollow yarn retains generated body heat to keep you warm. Push-pull moisture management eliminates sweat build-up.
