Designed to provide premium protection from rainy weather, the Q36.5 Rain Overpants have been pre-shaped to accommodate the cycling position. Special attention had been paid to the knee area which must be allowed freedom of movement while pedaling. The cut avoids constriction without requiring excess fabric that would flap in the wind. Made using a proprietary 3-layer fabric, the Rain Overpants offer premium performance for rain protection and breathability. The UF 75Shell material for the outer layer features a compact, high density woven polyamide that can withstand constant battering from rain and road spray. The second layer then makes use of an avant garde hydrophobic polyamide membrane with very high breathability (RET 4) and a 15.000 mm/l waterproof rating. Since these are intended to fit over cycling bibs or tights, there is no insert, but the saddle area features a rip stop material that resists abrasions from friction while also providing an anti-slip protection so you won’t be constantly sliding down your saddle in super wet conditions. To extend the protection in the saddle area, a print application has been applied on the two sides and serves as an additional aid against abrasions. The waistband in the back is constructed using a silicon elastic for grip and to keep the pants in position when cycling, while the front of the waistband is made using a softer material and gently elasticized to avoid pressure on the stomach when in the cycling position. All seams have been taped to ensure no water can penetrate. Side zippers have been positioned at the cuffs to facilitate pulling the pants on and off while still ensuring the fit will remain tight and water secure when riding. The ankle area features an enhanced elastic material that offers excellent water repellency and it is also reflective to guarantee high visibility. Weighing only 166g, the Rain Overpants are easily packable and can be either taken off mid-ride when the weather improves or brought along on longer trips that could turn wet later in the ride. The Q36.5 Rain Overpants can be worn over bibs or tights. They pair perfectly with the WP Overshoes and the R.Shell Protection X Jacket.

The proprietary 3-layer fabric, UF 75Shell, offers premium performance for rain protection and breathability. The outer layer features a compact, high density woven polyamide that can withstand the harshest conditions.
