Engineered for total control, the Q36.5 Unique Pro Shoes use proprietary Italian manufacturing technologies to achieve a new level of stability, power, and comfort for riders, allowing you to push yourself to the limit with a renewed level of confidence. At the heart of the shoe’s superior performance is a market-leading 4.4mm stack height. The artisanal carbon fiber sole is made in Montebelluna using a patent-pending layup. The outsole also features an extra wide metatarsal area for guaranteed comfort across different foot sizes and a cupped heel for increased stability. A signature of all Q36.5’s racing shoes, the Unique Pro Shoes feature no tongue but rather use a proprietary mesh panel across the bridge of the foot in order to maximize the shoes’ cooling effect. No other racing shoe on the market offers such a large and effective ventilating surface, representing an additional example of our commitment to thermoregulation as the new frontier for performance gains as well as rider comfort and health.

The world’s thinnest sole

Working with a specialist factory in Montebelluna, Italy, Q36.5 has developed a patent-pending carbon fiber layup allowing it to produce the world’s thinnest cycling shoe sole, with a sole stack of less than 2,2mm. Direct Power. Total Control.

Comfort and Thermoregulation

At the heart of the Unique Pro’s exceptional comfort is the elimination of the traditional central tongue. In its place is a proprietary mesh fabric panel which offers not just a sock-like fit but also the largest and most effective ventilating surface of any high performance racing shoe on the market.

What is low stack height?

Outsole Stack height refers to the total distance between the outer part of the carbon outsole and the top of the shoe inner. With a outsole stack of less than 2,2mm (the thinnest sole in the world), Q36.5 new unique shoe achieves a total Outsole stack height of 4,4mm. According to the latest studies of cycling biomechanics a lower sole not only offers a more direct transfer of power to the pedals but also an aerodynamic advantage, offering the rider up to 1% increase in power per mm of stack height reduction.
