UF Knit FleeceEco™ A new proprietary compact knitted fabric with double face construction that includes a robust, water repellent outer face and a micro-fleece inner face for thermal insulation. Made with 100% recycled yarns.
C-Interface Technology™ A new proprietary pattern for the crotch area aimed to improve the interface between saddle and chamois. There are no central seams that normally create pressure and discomfort while on the saddle. Improved durability and better thermoregulation.
UF hybrid shell An insulating ribbed fleece material woven with such an extraordinary density as to give the fabric windblocking values which come close to those of laminated shell windstopper fabrics.
special fiber “Heat” This bio-polyamide yarn is made from coffe bean charcoal and reduces heat loss and boasts a high absorption/emission rate of moisture before it has time to change into sweat due to condensation.
4 season protection A hybrid 4-season 137g piece of equipment. A true ‘emergency friend’ capable of offering a broad range of protective features with minimum volume.
Water resistance The material has undergone a treatment before being woven (as opposed to a ‘finish’ employed on the fabric, choice which allow the threads to maintain their natural characteristics) for water resistance and fast drying times.
Seamless technology Significantly greater elasticity and lower resistance to movement in all directions, given by the Karl Mayer machine’s ability to construct multiple tubes without any seams. he removal of all seams (with the exception of two short joining stitches at the shoulders) obviously also greatly increases the comfort of as tight-fitting a garment as a base layer.
Body Mapping Technology The ‘honey-comb’ pattern of the knit is deployed in various different densities, along with open-mesh sections, mapping the thermal requirements and regional sweat rates of an athlete’s body. Not only does this allow for the best rider comfort and protection, it also allows for the volume of the product to be significantly reduced where possible.
