    Unexpected challenges

Morocco has a lot to offer for riding bikes.
Highlights, however, are the Atlas Mountains and the sand dunes, which are connected by seemingly endless gravel roads.

Although you ride along scenic mountain backdrops and through small villages, steep climbs can make exploration challenging.

    Variation in temperature

Riding through the Atlas mountain range can be extremely difficult.
You can expect extreme heat in the lower areas, while the temperature can drop noticeably on climbs.
    A true challenge.

    Mastering the conditions

It’s the changing conditions that can be tricky when it comes to kit selection. That’s why it’s important that the kit system is perfectly tuned. Highly breathable and ultra-quick-drying fabrics are crucial factors here, because they boost heat exchange and do not allow the body to cool down too much or overheat.
