Correct use

All gear will suffer from differing degrees of wear-and-tear, depending upon the user. Equipment used by a regular rider for 150 days a year will by comparison, degrade faster than gear used by a weekend rider. By taking care of your equipment you will ensure a longer lifetime for the clothing, this is the most important point.

We recommend washing the garment immediately after every ride, so that the fabric can be detoxified from external variables such as sweat. (This last variable might be a strong acid for sensible textiles which might in turn lead to fabric deterioration).

  • Hang the garments in a well-ventilated environment; do not hang them in the direct sunlight.
  • Do avoid storing damp clothes in a non-ventilated environment if they’re humid. (Plastic bags or suitcase etc.)
  • We suggest always washing the garment using a delicate cycle and max temperature of 30°C.
  • Use a gentle liquid detergent and avoid aggressive washing powder, also do not use bleachers or softeners.
  • Never tumble dry the products, as this would damage the garment.
  • We recommend separately washing garments that contain  Velcro, such as gloves, bags, rain jackets etc.

For white garments or garments in two colors one of which is white, we recommend washing separately from other garments. White is the most delicate colour and can absorb colours from other fabrics which are not produced by us and therefore have not been tested together by us.

Riding

Do not get in contact with any Velcro, used on saddle pockets, rain jackets etc. as this could damage the textile and pull threats. (This is not a manufacturing defect and cannot be repaired). Take care when using carbon saddles as they can heat the garment fabric up significantly which may lead to damage over time.
