R.Shell Protection X, cycling rain jacket black
This is a rain jacket designed in the spirit of the very first cycling gilets and professional alpine flash rain jackets. Welcome this true emergency friend designed to do only one thing: protect you perfectly and accompany you on every single ride thanks to its minimal weight. The R. Shell Protection is constructed from a completely new proprietary 3-layer fabric, the UF 75ShellTM. The outer layer is an extremely compact, high density woven polyamide, while the second layer is an avant garde hydrophobic polyamide membrane with very high breathability (RET 4) and a 15.000 mm/l waterproof rating. Every weak point of the traditional rain jacket’s paneling has been aggressively addressed: the collar area is hermetically sealed, all seams which compromise waterproofing have been moved to the least exposed areas of the jacket and tapered for a sealed protection, wrist cuffs are elasticated for a snug fit and easy access to jersey pockets is guaranteed by two subtle slits in the back. We have meticulously thought of every single detail to prevent any water infiltration; the water repellent zipper is covered by waterproof fabric and a reflective waterproof insert on the back keeps the jacket in place.How to use the shell?

Perfect fit, very comfortable, nearly 100% waterproof. Due to heavy wind the outer zipper cover do not cover properly and that is were water is entering.

Another Q36.5 product that delivers excellent performance. Caught in a heavy shower on 1st ride in 16c weather. Waterproof-ness is excellent, fit is great and breathability also pretty good

Esteticamente molto bella, colore e forma davvero stupendi. oggi l'ho finalmente testata, pioggia, grandine e freddo al Passo Sella e Pordoi, arrivato asciutto e caldo, davvero notevole considerato l'ingombro di poso maggiore di una qualsiasi "mantellina". >E' un prodotto costoso, ma dopo la giornalaccio di oggi non rimpiango la spesa.

it's been a while that I bought it and although I had it with me already several times, it was only today that there was need to put it on I was very delighted to have been protected against chilly wind and moisture by this lightweight jacket, which you hardly feel and which is so comfortable. Fantastic item.

Die Regenjacke ist sehr atmungsaktiv und hält gleichzeitig auch bei längeren Regenfahrten sehr gut die Feuchtigkeit ab. Das Packmaß ist dabei so klein, dass die Jacke locker in die Rückentasche des Trikots passt. Kann man also immer sehr gut mitnehmen. Für mich die beste Regenjacke, die es gibt.

Légère et agréable a porter, tissu semblant résistant et bien élastique. 105 kg pour 1m81 et la taille XXL est bien taillée. Facile à plier et à ranger. Sèche rapidement. Apporte un plus de chaleur non négligeable non plus si nécessaire, trop chaude pour un climat tropical du coup. Il n'y a pas de recette magique et sous une pluie démentielle il y aura forcement de l'eau à l’intérieur par capillarité (testé chez moi en saison des pluies en Guyane). Produit cher mais rentable si solide comme annoncé. Note globale tout de même très bonne elle va m'accompagner sur toutes mes aventures dans les climats froids et tempérés.
