The super high density woven construction negates the need for a windproof membrane. The exterior of this women’s cycling jacket is constructed from the proprietary Hybrid Air Protection fabric, an innovative two layer fabric system, which incorporates a ribbed fleece and high-density polyamide woven fabric for the outer part with an effective water resistance treatment. The unique shape to the zipper closure cutting the bias, works well with the ergonomic shape of the top while also adding an extra level of protection against wind penetrating multiple zipped layers. Then the high ergonomic protective collar maximizes the thermal and wind protection for the neck area. The rear pocket construction receives a slight update with two wide pockets big enough to fit bulkier outer layers for winter, as well as one small pocket on the right hand side perfect for things that require quick, easy access like gel packs or tissue.
