Survival Kit Giro delle Dolomiti

Survival Kit Giro delle Dolomiti

The countdown has begun for the the 41st edition of the Giro delle Dolomiti which is scheduled to start in Bolzano on July 30th. Riders will be challenged by the Dolomites with beautiful and exciting stages that take them through the breathtaking region of South Tyrol. The landscape will differ drastically due to changes in the altitude. Some of the climbs reach over 2,000 meters above sea level, so there will be a broad span of temperature ranges (between 10°C and 30°C). To be competitive during the stages, comfortable and weather sensitive clothing is a necessary weapon. Essential is a breathable base layer and jersey with moisture management and fast drying times that adapt to the high intensity work out on the long climbs and dry quickly on the descents. Also ideal in your back pocket is an “emergency friend” such as the Vest L1 Essential for extra thermal and wind protection or the R.Shell Protection, an emergency rain jacket in case of sudden rain during the stages.

Essential Equipment available in our Collection:
