Long L1 X Cycling Salopette
The Long L1 Tight is an Essential and iconic product in the Q36.5 Equipment line. This tight is the proper “weapon” of choice for high intensity training in mid-season and early winter. The tight is part of our Wind Control category and made entirely of our proprietary technology UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS. This is a super high-density woven proprietary fabric now augmented with an extra warming effect thanks to a smart fiber on the inside face called the Heat Fiber, which is produced from the residue from coffee bean processing. The fiber attracts far-infrared rays from the environment and uses them to heat the body. Our measurements show an increase of 1 degree Celsius in comparison to our previous Long Salopette. The cut and construction of this new version is more spartan. The cut is the result of the evolution of our ergogenic pattern design, using a minimum of seams that are each strategically placed. And, adieu to the central seams in the crotch area, thanks to the anti-stress panel. A laser cut finish has also enabled us to get rid of many useless seams. The clever alignment of panels is designed to move with the direction of the pedal stroke, exploiting the vectorial elasticity of the fabric. This is a strategic design feature which can be felt by sensitive riders during the pedalling action. Tested at over 110rpm, the Long Salopette L1 is designed to allow maximum free movement while ensuring warmth despite its’ light weight.Features

Calzamagli eccezionale, usata gia’ 2 volte con molto nebbia e temperature tra 3 e 13 gradi. Non ho avuto ne freddo ne caldo. Resistenza all’umidità eccezionale (con la nebbia avevo le ginocchia e la parte superiore della gambe completamente bagnata ma la pelle e’ rimasta asciutta). Costano molto ma se le performance rimangono queste nel tempo e’ un capo perfetto per pedalate da 5h. Il fondello rimane un po’ piatto, attenzione a come si e’ abituati

I have several pairs of winter bibs but none are as well engineered as these. They allow hard efforts and almost immediately dump moisture when I end the interval so they never get clammy. I am cold natured so these are my go to above about 10°C; maybe a little lower if it's a sunny day and not windy. (If I am riding hard they can go lower for sure but because winder is base season and my Termico bibs are so breathable I usually wear those for anything under 10°C.)

Had the opportunity to test these out, excellent performance during an intense 2.5 hour ride with a starting temp of 4° C, ending at 17° C. Paired with the Dottore Hybrid Que jersey and #3 base layer. Brisk in the beginning and extremely comfortable the entire time. My quest for hard winter riding gear is over.

Works well enough in 32F cold, while still not too warm @ 50F. And the checker board pattern is an eye catcher.

Chamois Super Moulded
This new pad, the Super Moulded (SM), has the same dimensions as the FUSION and its foam padding has been calibrated according to the same scheme of variable densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischiatic, genital and gluteal zones for an extremely sophisticated tuning of rider comfort. The chamois, as with rear part of the FUSION, uses a unique moulding technique to present smooth variations in thickness of padding, markedly improving the contact with the rider’s skin. The SM is, like the FUSION, an extremely high-performing chamois designed for a solid and substantial feel and all-round riding support: from more upright ‘amateur rider’ and climbing positions to the ‘road riding’ position which places pressure on the perineal area all the way to the extreme angles of a Time Trial position.

Pre-Shaped Fit
A pre-shape fit garment is cut to have the least resistance to the athlete’s body when in the position it assumes while riding. Riders will notice that pre-shaped garments will, when hung unworn from a hanger, naturally fall towards a riding position. This means that while the wearer may feel a minor degree of strain or notice small creases in the garment when standing upright and not on the bike he or she will be most comfortable and aerodynamic and have greatest ease of motion when riding.
