The Q36.5 Dottore Hybrid Nibali Vest can enhance any cycling wardrobe from spring through winter. The RaceWare cut ensures a performance fit that will complement any short sleeve or long sleeve jersey.
Using the UF Hybrid Shell on the chest and shoulders, the Dottore Hybrid Nibali Vest offers natural wind protection thanks to the high-density woven material. The softness of the material belies how dense the construction is, functioning as an efficient wind barrier without the use of a synthetic membrane. Silver thread and the yarn produced from used coffee grounds are included in the weaving of the fabric. The mix of yarns works to enhance the moisture wicking capabilities while retaining heat and enhancing odor control and anti-bacterial properties.
The advanced body-mapping ensures the efficiency of the cut, as the no-gapping raw-cut construction of the arm openings shows. The raw cut of the hem also aids in keeping the vest sitting flat against the body, while simultaneously reducing material bulk to facilitate the vest’s packability. The central section on the back is made with mesh fabric for optimal thermoregulation and sweat dissipation.
Ventilation is aided by the 5 mm double pull zipper with a cam-lock on both ends which allows you to adjust the vest opening. The two-way zip means you can ventilate at the bottom without exposing your chest to an unwanted onslaught of cold wind. Two mesh pockets have been provided for those days where it’s cold enough that you will want to wear this vest for the full ride, though they are low profile enough to allow the vest to remain easily stowable when the weather warms up.
