Technical Features
The Q36.5 Half Short Women are produced using the ground breaking proprietary knitted fabric UF Knit44 ECO and use our special pre-shaped ergonomic cut. Basing the fit on our body-mapping technology, these women-specific cycling shorts offer all-day comfort thanks to pro-level muscle support and in-the-saddle long distance protection.
The robust material offers UV protection and deflects the sun so that you feel 1.5°C less hot than in a regular black fabric. A lumbar support panel on the small of the back offers high density stretchy support with a woven fabric augmented with silver thread. The material works actively to improve stability and body alignment during the pedal stroke. The proprietary leg band finish eliminates hot spots and applies much less pressure on the thigh area thanks to the raw cut at the bottom of the leg hems that keeps the shorts in place.
The Shorts use our adaptive Fusion Chamois, which has been anatomically designed for the requirements of a women’s body. The foam padding has been calibrated according to the scheme of variable densities and thicknesses resulting in an extremely sophisticated tuning of its overall comfort. The chamois uses a unique mix of sewing sections and thermo-molding other sections that produces smooth variations in the thickness of the padding, for supremely comfortable rides. The ultra-breathable construction maximizes moisture management, which results in exceptional hot-weather long term comfort.

Nice fit and very durable. I am using mine for over 2 years almost every week and it still fits well. Just bought my 3rd one. Even though it does not have the straps that go around your shoulders, it stays in place. The only negative about the shorts is that it is not comfortable when I am also using leg warmers underneath.

I prefer bike shorts to bibs because of the ease and convenience of putting on and taking off. The Half Shorts Lady New is perfect, as they form-fit to me like a 2nd skin; they are light and cool and the lovely leg band finish is oh-so-comfortable to wear.
Fusion Chamois
The women’s-specific adaptive chamois adapt to the rider’s position by using both sewn and thermo-molded padding technologies. The open cell density foam focuses on the perineal area, while the thermo-molded pads are used for the ischial area where support is premium.
Proprietary Leg Hem Finishing
The raw-cut leg hems support without squeezing since they don’t employ uncomfortable elastic and silicon strips. They stay in place with no pressure points no matter the intensity of the effort using a natural gripping material on the inside of the cuff.
Lumbar Support System
Made from a proprietary high density woven fabric, this panel provides additional compression to create a zone of support for the lumbar and gluteal musculature. The improved stability results in increased power output.
