By using our Gregarius Bib Shorts as the basis, the Shark Gregarius Bib Shorts offer a construction that uses a pre-shaped cut with minimal seams and strategically placed panels to support the muscles throughout the pedal stroke. Made from 100% recycled fabrics, the Bib’s laser cut ensures a slim fit while removing unwanted seams. The ergonomic fit with strategically placed panels provides proper muscle support. For the saddle and the chamois interface, we are using a proprietary pattern to improve the saddle/chamois intersection. Our innovative pattern eliminates the central seam which typically causes pressure and discomfort while on the saddle. The construction improves durability and thermoregulation thanks to the conductive properties of the materials. The new pattern replicates the contact surface of the saddle and is made with a molded fabric that adapts naturally to the different typology of saddles. To increase comfort in the pelvic zone, an anti-stress cut allows more freedom of movement and no pressure points. The chamois uses a new three-dimensional SuperMoulded-Anatomic construction that better follows the anatomy of the human body and offers augmented comfort during the ride. The foam padding has been calibrated according to the scheme of variable densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischiatic, genital and gluteal zones resulting in an extremely sophisticated tuning of its overall comfort. The chamois uses a unique molding technique that produces smooth variations in the thickness of the padding, markedly improving the contact with the rider’s skin. The leg band has been finished with a proprietary material and cut to eliminate hotspots and pressure on the leg thanks to the cut at the bottom of the leg panels that keeps the shorts in place. The lightweight, breathable and secure braces keep the bibs in place without causing any feeling of hindrance. A lumbar support panel at the small of the back has been made using high density woven stretch fabric augmented with silver thread. The result is improved stability and alignment through the pedal stroke.
