Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team unveils 2024 Second-Season Kit

Inspired by the team’s mission of #RacingTheFuture

Q36.5 is proud to be the naming and technical apparel sponsor of Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team for the second year in a row and to unveil our 2024 high performance kit.
In 2023, during our debut season, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team celebrated seven victories and numerous top-10 finishes in stage races throughout the cycling calendar. The goal for our second season on the road is to build on the momentum created in our 1st year and move up the world rankings through developing more depth and quality in our talented riders to win more races. By leveraging areas like performance analysis and technical enhancements to continuously adapt and improve while living our mission of #RacingTheFuture.
Eight new riders, including former European Champion Giacomo Nizzolo have bolstered the multicultural squad and will strengthen the team’s competitive ambitions. Former Irish National Champion Rory Townsend, Frederik Frison, David de la Cruz, Alessandro Fancellu, Jannik Steimle, Xabier Mikel Azparren and James Whelan make out the reinforcements for 2024.

Q36.5 PRO TEAM OFFICIAL 2024 KIT

The official 2024 Pro Team Cycling kit features Q36.5’s most advanced and sustainable RaceWear pieces: the Gregarius Pro Jersey and Gregarius Pro Bib Shorts. Two staples of Q36.5’s RaceWear line that have helped the team master the most difficult and challenging races and kept their body temperature at the ideal 36.5°C – at all times.

The visual elements of our second-season kit are inspired by the team’s unwavering commitment to progress the future of cycling as a whole. A slightly darker design with a striking thermo-regulating pattern on the back and neon accents ensures a unique kit with improved visibility in hectic racing situations. The team’s mission of #RacingTheFuture is distinctly highlighted on the back panel of the jersey, anchoring their purpose in the peloton, whilst Q36.5’s groundbreaking body-mapping and thermoregulation technology is a recurring theme throughout the entire Pro Team Collection.

Unlike the previous season, the team will be racing in both the UNIQUE shoes, as well as the newly developed Dottore Clima Shoes that Q36.5 will launch in early February – another revolutionizing footwear addition from the Q36.5 LAB. This ties into Q36.5’s study of the ‘3 Points of Contact System’ – where they optimize the three touchpoints a rider has with their bike through the shoes, bib shorts and gloves – resulting in marginal gains through optimum power transfer and comfort.

With only 110 grams, the Q36.5 Gregarius Pro Team Jersey is extremely lightweight, breathable and super fast-drying, combining 4 proprietary fabrics, produced using 70% recycled yarns and 11 patterns, all strategically placed to allow for maximum aerodynamics and thermoregulation.

The Gregarius Q36.5  Pro Cycling Team Bib Shorts are equally lightweight, with 175 grams, and sport the brand’s Qlab Air Chamois, Tubular Strap System and Leg-band Finishing, all developed by their in-house R&D team for optimal RaceWear benefits and power transfer. Made from 100% recycled yarns, and like Q36.5’s entire line sourced and handcrafted within a 350 km radius of their Bolzano headquarters, they’re bringing sustainability and performance cycling clothing to the next level.

“Inspired by our Body Mapping studies and based on our core principles of progress and innovation, our second-season Pro Team Race Kit was developed to help our athletes go beyond their own limits. We’re extremely proud to see the team’s riders benefit from our products and bring performance cycling to the next level. Together we are #RacingTheFuture.”

Luigi Bergamo, CEO and Head of R&D Q36.5

“Our team truly enjoyed their first-season wearing Q36.5’s technical apparel in the toughest cycling conditions culminating in 200 race days. The fact that the riders found comfort, durability, and technical functionality in Q36.5 apparel during such extensive race days speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of the brand. Enduring various weather conditions and rigorous cycling environments while maintaining comfort is crucial for optimal performance, and Q36.5 delivered on all fronts. Our 2024 team kit builds on this year’s incredible design showing increased investment from our partners and visual awareness for our riders in the neon accents whilst in close combat in the peloton.”

Doug Ryder, General Manager Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team

    ABOUT Q36.5

The Italian technical cycling apparel brand Q36.5, co-founded by Luigi Bergamo and Sabrina Emmasi, was born in 2013. Since its inception, Q36.5 has been distinguished by using high-tech fabrics aimed at facilitating athletes’ thermoregulation in situations of extreme exertion in all environmental conditions, even the most difficult. The brand’s name derives from this mission: Q as in Latin quaerere meaning ”research”, and 36.5, the ideal temperature in degrees Celsius of a healthy body. In 2021, Q36.5 also launched its first cycling shoe, the UNIQUE SHOES™ – the world’s first body-mapped shoe, worn by multiple professional athletes and appreciated for its comfortable fit combined with its efficient Watt transmission.
As title sponsor and technical RaceWear provider, Q36.5 is extremely proud to connect its mission of ‘Progress is Motion’ with the Pro Team’s progressive goals.
