A really great thermal shirt that is functionally convincing. The water / sweat permeability could be a little better, but otherwise the product convinced me 100%.

Who needs a hat? This is a more complete base layer than a base layer. And keeps your whole head warm. And is like a neck gator only better.

When I saw this new winter base-layer with the improved textile and balaclava I jumped on it as the weather in Tokyo is suddenly quite cold. It has a snug stretchy fit and although is very light it feels very light and moves with the body. Compared to a the original base-layer4 this offers considerably more protection. The balaclava makes a big difference as is covers the neck and head and even provides decent wind block. I like to wear it with my !36.5 fleece headband over the balaclava for extra ear protection. The texture of the textile keep the headband in place throughout my ride. Exceptional deep winter base layer that extends the range of your winter jacket, while keeping you perfectly dry.

Garments constructed with RSR (Regional Sweat Rate) body mapping will be breathable in differing degrees throughout the garment according to scientific research data collected regarding the various regional sweat rates of the athlete’s body. This more strategic use of breathable panels and varying densities allows for the construction of the lowest volume garment as well as the most stable body temperature during activity.

Unhemmed Finish
Unhemmed finish means that the way in which the fabric has been woven or knitted allows for it to be cut and modified directly by the user with no need to then be hemmed. Please feel free to cut your Unhemmed Finish garment any way you see fit.
