A one-piece winter cycling skinsuit, the Q36.5 Thermobolik Winter Skinsuit works to minimize the loss of warmth between the layers while offering a race-fit without sacrificing effective insulation. The front of the integrated jacket uses UF Hybrid Thermic fabric with super high density woven construction which provides extraordinary wind protection. And if you need to add a layer before a cold descent, an easily accessible integrated wind protective membrane is stored in a front pocket. The fleece material in the interior of the fabric is plushily pronounced to facilitate the creation of an air cushion for optimal insulation.

High performance winter cycling clothing owes a lot to downhill skiing, which first introduced the use of lightweight synthetic performance fabrics into the cycling culture. The Q36.5 Thermobolik Winter Skinsuit takes direct inspiration from the Descente thermo-combi body suits that many Italian pros started using in the early 1980s. The overall effect of this lightweight fabric is to offer extraordinary heat retention combined with high breathability since no membrane is required. The shoulders and sleeves of the jacket receive particular attention since these are two areas most exposed to the cold wind and precipitation. These areas feature a combination of UF Air Insulation for a warm interior, and UF Hybrid Shell Plus, high density elastic woven fabric that protects the exterior while allowing the arms and shoulders to move naturally. By combining densely woven material that insulates and breathes equally well with our intelligent shell for regions very exposed to wind, the Thermobolik Winter Skinsuit provides non-bulky protection. You won’t be forced to layer-up which can cause unwanted pressure points that can result in reduced blood flow. Just to be safe, the clever design also incorporates an invisible pocket where an integrated wind shell membrane has been stored. It can be easily unfolded and secured on the front of the chest using three magnetic buttons. It guarantees an additional level of wind protection for when you have crested a climb and now face a frigid descent, or simply when the conditions turn apocalyptic. The side panels of the jacket as the integrated long leg pants are made with the UF Thermo Plus. This super high-density woven proprietary fabric provides an extra warming effect thanks to a smart fiber on the inside face called the Heat Fiber, which attracts far-infrared rays from the environment and uses them to heat the body. Unifying the skinsuit, the waistband has been constructed to provide extra protection to the abdominal area and engineered to conform to the body without applying any pressure when in the cycling position. Two reflective bands follow the contours of the upper body to provide exceptional visibility. Lightweight invisible pockets allow you to take small essentials like your ID, phone, and gel packs.By adding our innovative materials and deft sartorial touch, the Thermobolik works to keep you warm and unencumbered on deep winter rides. The Q36.5 Thermobolik Winter Skinsuit is designed to provide total comfort and performance from -5°C to +5°C.

The extra windshell membrane is stored in an invisible pocket on the shoulder. It can be easily unfolded and secured on the front of the chest using three magnetic buttons.
